3" Rough Country Lift
The parts that I begin with. New springs, shocks, U-bolts, transfer case lowering kit, track bar relocation brackets, bump stop extensions, and brake line extensions.
First things first: jack the Jeep up, remove the tires, and get the 'rolley thing' ready underneath.
Next I did the first corner which took about 5 times as long as each other corner since it was the first. After finishing, I looked at the front to decide if I wanted to leave the shackles on. I decided to leave them off, but I'm going to put them back on again this summer.
The rear gave me a little more difficulty. The frame spring mounts needed to be pounded with my trusty BFH in order to fit the springs in them. Of course, we finally got the springs mounted and the very odd track bar relocation bracket placed. I may just completely remove my track bar if I get worried about how this bracket is.
Some finishing touches: transfer case lowering brackets and steering stabilizer. The picture on the right, you can see the new stabilizer, shocks, U-bolts, front track rod relocation bracket, and bump stop extensions. Finally puts some color under my Jeep.
Here's the front right with the tire back on. Gives you a picture of the tire's distance from the fender, and you can actually see the brake extension, if you look real close. But it is finally finished, and here it is........................
I've been wheelin' with it and I LOVE the difference. Got through a big ditch that I couldn't do before. Haven't brought the camera yet, but I'll get some pictures up here soon.
